He included a review of a racking failure from a Hawkins case, detailing the steps he had taken to determine the root cause of the failure and highlighted that reviewing installation documents and post construction survey results are often a good starting point. He concluded with an overview of common causes that can lead to structural failures, including design flaws, construction defects and extreme loading events.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawkins.biz\/experts\/yang-dang\/\">Yang<\/a> is an ASEAN Chartered Engineer with 14 years\u2019 experience as a structural engineer.
