He specialises in the forensic analysis of design and construction defects and has been responsible for the preparation of expert reports related to matters including fire safety, water ingress, tiling failures, code compliance and scope issues.<\/p><p>Austen\u2019s experience as an architect has spanned across Europe, the Middle East, the CIS and Australia and covered multiple largescale transport projects as well as the retail, commercial office, hospitality and residential sectors.<\/p><p>He has experience of all project stages with a focus on the technical stages of projects through to delivery on site. He has carried out numerous technical peer reviews and has vast experience of dealing with clients, contractors and co-ordinating with consultants.<\/p><p>Austen is registered with the Architect\u2019s Registration Board, is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Chartered Institute of Building, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Society of Construction Law and the Academy of Experts and is on the roster of arbitrators with the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
